One of my very favorite photographers is Jessica Claire. She shoots the most beautiful weddings and is very inspiring to me. Anyway, she has a blog that I look at EVERYDAY. It's filled with personality and beautiful images and most recently, a contest. It was a "What I'm Thankful For" contest and I decided it would be pointless, but fun to enter. I ended up sending in a photo of my little sister, and although I am very grateful for her, she is not what I said I was grateful for. It was more of what the picture symbolizes to me, instead. I guess the title of this post gives away the fact that I didn't win, but coming in as a runner-up out of over 300 entries is pretty exciting! Just to see one of MY photos on her site is enough for me to be giddy! (please pardon that word, but it's the best word I can come up with to describe what I was feeling) If you want to check out her blog you can click here, but be aware that you might become an addict! My photo is the third one down of the young girl with a lot of light cast onto her face.

Can you believe how beautiful this family is?! This is the last shoot of a set of three. Before, during and after the birth. But, I'm thinking I'm going to continue the trend and be this baby's personal photographer for life. First day of Kindergarten, high school graduation, wedding day... It's a fail-proof way to get some beautiful photographs!

This has to be one of the neatest photoshoots I have ever been a part of. I wish I could explain how incredible this experience was, but I can't do it justice. I'm going to have to let the photographs do all the talking for me this time. Thanks to Emy and Jake for inviting me to an incredible birthday party.

I've known Adrienne for YEARS now. And I have to say that she is the kind that only gets prettier and prettier with time. The funniest part about photographing Adrienne is that every other picture she is busting up laughing! Needless to say, I had a great time shooting her. (that always sounds so bad)
