Sorry for the lack of posts. Been shooting like crazy. Promise to start back up on Monday.
I'm off to L.A. in the morning to watch my big brother race in the X-Games! If you're interested in watching, his race is on Saturday and it aires on ESPN. I don't know what time it's on so just look on the guide for SuperMoto. His name is Cassidy Anderson and he's number 15. Cross your fingers for him!
Have a great weekend!

UPDATE!!! His race is on at 5.

Introducing... The Lovely Mrs. Carly Miller
It's official! Carly and Griffin are married! Yesterday was the big day and I'm happy to say that the entire day went off without a hitch (besides the 104 degree weather). I've had to wait to post her bridals because her wedding dress was a surprise for most of the family until yesterday. Isn't it beautiful? She designed it with the help of our mom and their incredibly talented seamstress. Thanks to the also incredibly talented Tavis Johnson and Denver Riddle who took care of the photography and videography.

Ballerinas
Barlow Arts Conservatory is a relatively new dance company that is growing like crazy! And for good reason... Jenny Barlow danced at Ballet West, taught at BYU and was a Rockette in NYC! Jenny creates a fun learning environment with an emphasis on technique. I was so excited when Jenny asked me to photograph these sweet little pixies again this year. Here are just a few...

"The Great Bambiiinooo"
I couldn't help but run lines from The Sandlot through my head while photographing these boys. Are they not the cutest baseball players you've ever seen? I wish I could post all of the teams players but I have run out of time. Next up... ballerinas!

Why my nieces call me Crystal Light
My sister has been hounding me to share this story with you. Why? Because she's my older sister and it's her right to embarrass me. Just like it's my right to embarrass my two younger sisters (those stories to come). Anyway, I'm going to make this short and sweet. That way it's less painful for me to type. So here it goes...
I love flavored water. Anything that can help me drink more water without it being a task is a friend in my book. So naturally I was ecstatic when I found (in the water bottle fridge) individual Crystal Light packets at the gas station one day. I thought it was the greatest invention in the whole world. And I was very impressed that the Crystal Light marketing team had come up with such a cool way to promote their product. From that day on it was common for me to grab a handful of the cute little packets that helped me achieve the recommended 8 glasses of water a day...Fast forward a couple months... I am standing at the counter of a gas station ready to pay for my gasoline and treats. I point to the objects that I am going to purchase and then wait for the grand total...
Man behind the counter: Are you also going to get those Crystal Light packets?
Crystal Light: Oh yeah, I am. But those are free.
Confused man behind the counter: Uhhh no, those are 39 cents.
Confused Crystal Light: They're not samples?
Annoyed man behind the counter: NO, they're not samples. They're 39 cents.
Mortified Crystal Light: Well, then I have stolen about 60 of these over the past few months!!!
So there you have it folks, I unknowingly robbed just about every gas station in Utah County. What I thought were genius product placement samples were actually just your everyday average product. And no, I haven't gone back to each gas station and paid them back. But I do give the countertop charity cans my extra change in hopes that I will be forgiven for my sins of stupidity.
So here is the question for today. What have you done that in hindsight was REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY stupid?

No random question today. I haven't had any time to get around to it. But I promise there will be one next week! I've been so busy that I haven't been able to get around to it. I leave tomorrow morning for San Francisco and while I'm SO excited about it I have had to put myself in overdrive to get ready for it. I didn't want to leave without giving you something to look at. So here is a fun sneak peak at Kim and Dave's wedding day! (Dave not pictured)

Nicole + Dane
Nicole is a fellow photographer and I was SO excited/nervous when asked to shoot her big day. Shooting for another photographer really tests me. I can't help but feel a huge amount of pressure to do a good job. Luckily, Nicole is FULL of personality and knows how to help me make a shot work. But I can't give her all the credit. Dane is a trooper and was willing to do anything I asked him to. THANKS to the darling new couple. I had so much fun wandering through the streets of SLC and wading through muddy orchards with you! You two are an exceptionally cute couple and I wish you all the best in the future...
